Feather & Down

  • Lightweight and lofty
  • Feathers provide weight and loft to give your bed that fluffy duvet look and feel.
  • Down provides warmth and insulation
  • The percentage of fill refers to the feather to down ratio – the more down clusters means the higher warmth rating, while more feather means a lower warmth rating and more bulk and loft.

Goose

  • Goose feather and down clusters are larger in size and trap more air which provides good insulation.
  • This duvet inner is warm, light and fluffy because less filling is needed.

Duck

  • Duck feathers are smaller in size which means more feather and down are needed for the same warmth rating as goose fill.
  • Duck filled inners are heavier in weight because more fill is needed to achieve the same warmth level as goose fill.

SELECT A WARMTH LEVEL RIGHT FOR YOU

GSM refers to the Grams per Square Metre, referring to the weight or thickness of the quilt filling. The higher the gsm, the warmer the duvet.

This metric is used across all types of duvet inners (except for Feather & Down) to understand how warm your duvet inner would be.

- 150 to 250gsm is best for summer
- 300 to 350gsm is best for autumn and spring
- 400+gsm is best for winter

All-season duvets come with 2 quilts that clip together, to provide 3 options:

- 1 x 150 to 250gsm, best for summer
- 1 x 300 to 350gsm, best for autumn and spring
- Or by clipping the two together, you get a maximum gsm winter duvet.
