Shave for a Cure 2024

Thank you for your support and solidarity for Kiwis living with blood cancer.

Eleven shave events were held at Farmers stores across the country during May.

Combined with your generous donations online and in store, we raised a total of  $240,964.79 in 2024.

Shave for a Cure is Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand's signature fundraising event, running for over 2 decades. Shaving is a bold but simple way of helping the Kiwis diagnosed with blood cancer or serious blood condition.

Eight Kiwis - adults and children - are diagnosed each day with blood cancer. There's a good chance that they may lose their hair through chemotherapy because it can harm their hair follicles; this can be a difficult, scary and isolating experience.

Every shave matters. Every donation matters. Yours could change a life.
