Shave for a Cure 2023

Thank you for your support and solidarity for Kiwis living with blood cancer.

Thanks to your generous donations, we raised a total of $251,479.08 in 2023.

Shave for a Cure is Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand's signature fundraising event, running for over a decade. Shaving is a bold but simple way of helping the Kiwis diagnosed with blood cancer or serious blood condition.

Eight Kiwis - adults and children - are diagnosed each day with blood cancer. There's a good chance that they may lose their hair through chemotherapy because it can harm their hair follicles; this can be a difficult, scary and isolating experience.
