    Farmers Club Card Terms and Conditions

    'Farmers' means The Farmers Trading Company Limited. You can contact Farmers online at www.farmers.co.nz ('website') or by telephone on 0800 327 637.

    'Season' means one of the four calendar quarters: January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December.

    Completing an application for membership ('Membership') in the Farmers Club Programme ('Farmers Club') and/or receipt and use of a Farmers Club Loyalty Card ('Card') is deemed acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions ('Terms"), as amended by Farmers from time to time.

    Applications for Membership may be completed in store or on the 'Website'. Failure to provide any information designated as 'mandatory' will mean you will be ineligible for Membership. All information provided must be true and correct. You agree to keep your details up to date at all times by making changes through the Website, or by advising a staff member in store.

    Memberships without an associated valid email address will not be eligible for the full benefits and Rewards of Farmers Club. Rewards offered to customers at the end of each Season may be sent to a customer via email only and may not be available through any other channel. It is the member's responsibility to keep the recorded email address current in accordance with Clause 4 of these Terms.

    Applications for Membership may be made by any individual, however, members residing overseas will not receive a Farmers Club card. It is not possible to redeem Vouchers, Rewards and Benefits online therefore overseas members will only have access to these benefits when shopping in physical Farmers stores in New Zealand. Only one membership is permitted per individual. Farmers reserves the right to accept or reject any application and shall not be required to provide any reason for such acceptance or rejection.

    When you apply for membership online, or when you access your account online, you will be required to create a secure password to access your account via the Website. You agree not to disclose your password to any other person.

    You should present your Card in store or sign in to Farmers Club when shopping online for all purchases of Farmers products and services. This is to enable Farmers to provide you with the full benefits of Farmers Club.

    Whenever you purchase products or services from a physical Farmers store or online and the spend value equals or exceeds the minimum spend level for those products or services, you will collect points ('Points') based on the amount spent. The amount of spend requried per Point and the products and services on which Points can be earned may vary from time to time. You should refer to the Website or check with a staff member for an up-to-date list of qualifying products / services and the level of spend required per point.

    Points will be accumulated and recorded against your Membership. At the end of every Season Farmers will offer you a Reward(s) based on the balance of Points accumulated from all purchases of products and services from Farmers ('Rewards'). Points earned on products subsequently returned will not contribute to any Rewards offered at Farmers discretion.

    Points earned on all purchases will be totalled at the end of each season. Based on the number of points earned, Farmers will offer you a Reward(s). This Reward(s) may change each Season. The Points balance will be set to zero at the beginning of each Season whether or not you have used the Reward(s) offered.

    Spending on qualifying beauty products and services will be recorded as an accumulated dollar spend value on your account which will lead to a Voucher (dollar value available on presentation of your Card in store which acts as a discount on a qualifying transaction) if the minimum spend value is reached. This spend value will expire six months after the date of the transactionon which it was recorded, if you have not recorded sufficient spend to convert to a Voucher. Your accumulated spend on qualifying beauty products and services will be reflected on your statement. Your statement will also set out how much more you need to spend in qualifying beauty to receive a Voucher.

    Vouchers are only credited to your membership in denominations of $20 and can only be redeemed in full $20 increments. Points, Rewards and Vouchers cannot be sold, and cannot be transferred to another person unless specifically permitted by Farmers.

    You may still collect Points in store if you do not have your Card with you by quoting the phone number associated with your Farmers Club account, or, when shopping online by signing in to Farmers Club online before the transaction is completed. Members can only redeem Rewards, Vouchers or benefits by presenting their Card along with any emails, coupons or codes associated with the Reward or benefit at the time of payment, at a Farmers store or on the Website where applicable. Your Card may only be used for transactions made by you personally. Farmers reserve the right to require identification when collecting Points, redeeming Rewards, Vouchers or other benefits or otherwise using your Card.

    Points do not have any value and cannot be redeemed for cash, gift cards or any Farmers products and services except as expressly set out in these terms. To redeem your Rewards you must comply with the specific requirement(s) of the Reward(s) as notified on, or in relation to, the Reward itself.

    When a Voucher is redeemed, Points will not be earned on the value of the Vouchers redeemed. To redeem your Voucher you must:

    • Comply with the specfic requirement(s) of the Voucher(s) as notified on, or in relation to the Voucher itself;
    • Purchase Farmers products or services in a category in which your vouchers may be redeemed in a single transaction, the purchase price of which is greater than, or equal to, the value of the Voucher(s) you are redeeming. Where the purchase price in a single transaction is less than the value of the Voucher(s) you wish to redeem you will be unable to redeem your Voucher(s).
    • The categories in which voucher(s) may be redeemed may vary from time to time. You should refer to the Website for an up-to-date list of categories in which you can redeem voucher(s).
    • Where the purchase price exceeds the value of Voucher(s) on your Card, you must pay the difference;
    • Voucher(s) cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
    • Voucher(s) can only be redeemed at Farmers physcial stores and cannot be redeemed for purchases made on our online store.

    If, in accordance, with Farmers' return policy, you return a product on which you have earned Points, the Points will be deducted from your Points balance, and any Rewards or Vouchers earned with those Pointsm will be cancelled. Where products returned are qualifying beauty products your accumulated spend balance will be reduced by the value of the products returned.

    The Card is not a debit or a credit card. All Farmers Club Cards remain the property of Farmers at all times and must be surrendered on demand.

    In the event that your Card is lost, stolen or damaged, you will need to request a new Card either in store or on the Website. You must advise Farmers as soon as you are aware your card is lost, stolen or damaged. Farmers do not accept any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged cards or any resulting loss or theft of Points, Vouchers, Rewards or benefits.

    These Terms including (without limitation) how Points, Vouchers, Rewards and other benefits may be accumulated and/or redeemed and on which products and services, may be amended by Farmers at any time without notice to you. Without limiting the foregoing, Farmers may add or remove products, services or product categories eligible for the collection or redemption of Points, Vouchers and Rewards, offer bonue Points or alter the level of spend require to accumulate Points or Vouchers or Rewards, whether temporarily or permanently, at its sole discreation. Current Terms and Conditions can be viewed on the Website, so it is recommended that you check these periodically. Continuing to use your Card after changes to the Terms and Conditions are made is deemed acceptance of those changes.

    From time to time Farmers may provide Members with additional offers, promotions or benefits in connection with the Card ('Promotions'). These Terms and Conditions shall apply to such Promotions in addition to any specific terms accompanying such Promotions. In the event of any inconsistebct, the specific terms of the Promotion shall apply.

    Farmers Club may be terminated at any time without notice to you. In the event Farmers Club is terminatedm Farmers reserves the right to cancel all Points or accumulated spend on qualifying beauty products and services accured by you. However, any Rewards or Vouchers that have been credited to your membership prior to the date of termination will continue to be valid for the lesser period of 26 weeks after the date they were credited to your membership or any other period notified by Farmers at the time of termination.

    Farmers may revoke your Membership at any time without notice and for any reason (including but not limited to fraudulent use of the Card or behaviour which, in the view of Farmers, is not acceptable). In the event your Membership is revoked, all accrued Points and Rewards will expire from the date of revocation and you will have not further entitlement in respect of Farmers Club.

    Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Farmers (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of Farmers Club or any Membership, including but not limited to, where arrising out of: (a) any technical difficulties, network failures, virus or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Farmers' control); (b) any loss, theft, unauthorised access or third party interference with or of Points, Rewards, Membership information or the Card; (c) any Points or Rewards that are not properly recorded against a Member's Card; (d) participation in, or termination of Farmers Club; (e) Force Majeure.

    Your personal information is collected to enable Farmers to provide you with the benefits of Farmers Club. If you do not provide the requested personal information you will be ineligible for Membership. All personal information provided by you will be held by Farmers, in accordance with its obligations under the Privacy Act 1993 abd Farmers' Privacy Policy. Farmers Privacy Policy is available on the Website. Farmers collects your personal information for the purposes of Farmers Club and such information may be used by Farmers, its related companies, third parties and associated agencies for promoting other goods and services of Farmers and its related companies or third parties. Farmers may provide transactional data to third parties solely for the purpose of the Farmers Club. You have the right to update or correct your personal information either online or by contacting Farmers directly.

    If you wish to terminate your Membership please contact Farmers directly. You may also opt into or opt out of receiving promotional communications from Farmers via the Website.

    When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to buy the goods and/or services. When you place an order you will be required to provide details to enable us to fulfil and delivery the order to you.

    The website is provided for our customers to buy, or find out more about our products and services. Products displayed may not be available in all physical stores or available to purchase through our website.

    Pricing & Promotions

    Prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).  We have made every effort to provide accurate pricing information on our website.   In the event of a pricing error on our website, the inaccurate price will not be honoured at our physical stores and we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed on our online store.

    Farmers reserve the right to change any aspect of our product information at any time without notice. 

    Promotions are available only while stocks last. Discounts are off the regular retail price and not available in conjunction with any other offer. These may replace other offers. You get the better deal! Accessories used in photographs are not included in the price and colours may differ slightly from online images. Promotions exclude gift cards, non-ranged, Superdeals and clearance items.  Some items may not be held in store at Farmers and may require a waiting period for delivery.  Not all products shown in promotional catalogues may be purchased online or in store.

    Farmers Club Exclusive Promotions: In addition to the “Promotions” terms and conditions, Exclusive Farmers Club online offers are only available when you join or sign in to Farmers Club. Promotional pricing appears only when signed in to Farmers Club and after the product is added to the cart.

    Promotions offering Free Delivery: Promotions offering Free Delivery are to the value of $7 and includes Collect in Store. Large item delivery will be discounted by $7. Qualifying purchase to be made in a single transaction.

    Clearance (including Red Dot Clearance): Clearance offers are available only while stocks last. Stock is strictly limited, first in, first served. Pricing reflects the clearance price (prices as marked), no other discount applies.  Clearance offers are excluded from any other promotion.

    Stock Availability

    Products displayed on our website are subject to availability in our physical and online stores.  We have made every effort to provide accurate stock availability information on our website, however, we do not guarantee that if a product is classified as being “in stock” that stock will be available to purchase at our physical stores or online.

    Terms of Sale

    In addition to the above General Website Terms and Conditions, the following terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases by you through our website.  By completing a purchase order you are stating that you agree to be bound by all of these terms and conditions.

    Acceptance of Orders:  Dispatch of orders is subject to stock availability and you will be advised if a product is unavailable.  To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to any person if we decline to fulfil, or are unable to fulfil, an order.

    Prices:  We will charge you the retail price shown on the website at the time you submit your order. You may also be charged additional delivery fees.

    Payment:  You may pay online by MasterCard, Visa, Amex, QCard, Farmers Finance Card, ASB True Rewards Card, Oxipay and by Farmers Gift Cards. Unfortunately we are unable to accept Farmers Gift cards from the Gift Station stand online.  

    Farmers Gift Card Terms and Conditions

    This Gift Card has no value until activated at time of purchase. This Gift Card is issued by the Farmers Trading Company Limited. This Gift Card can be used for the purchase of goods at any Farmers store, including www.farmers.co.nz, with the exception of counters operated by third parties. It may not be returned, redeemed for cash or used as payment on any Farmers Card of Fixed Instalment account. Any unused value on the Gift Card expires 2 years after date of issue. To use, simply present the Gift Card for full or part payment of goods at the time of purchase. The amount of any purchase will be deducted from the Gift Card. You may check your current balance and card expiry date at any time by visiting www.farmers.co.nz/giftcards.


    We currently only supply to New Zealand addresses. Please ensure the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed.  We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.  We will endeavour to deliver goods on the agreed delivery dates but, to the maximum extent permitted by law we will not be held liable for late delivery. 

    Delivery to rural addresses or delivery of dangerous goods may take longer in some areas. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you, or, if you are to arrange delivery, when the goods are available for collection by you.

    You must notify us within 8 days of the dispatch date (as stated in the email we send confirming dispatch) if you have not received an item.  Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.


    Any return of goods is subject to our Returns Policy.

    Order Cancellation  

    Once your order is confirmed we are unable to change or cancel any aspects of your order. Please carefully check your order details before completing payment of the order. In order to protect our customers and services, we reserve the right to cancel orders or request other methods of payment for orders received.

    Consumer Guarantees Act  

    Nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or affect your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to the extent that such limitation or other contracting out is prohibited by that Act.

    Limitation of Liability

    - we exclude all warranties, descriptions, representations or conditions in relation to the goods and/or services provided by us implied by law, trade, custom or otherwise;
    - where goods are advertised with reference to photograph(s) we will endeavour to deliver the corresponding goods, however we do not warrant that the goods we deliver to you will be identical to those displayed in the photograph(s);
    - our liability for any claim, damages, loss or expense related to the supply by use of goods or services is limited to the cost paid by you for such good or services;
    - we will not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage, or loss of profits, loss of data, loss of savings and loss of opportunity.
