Farmers began trading in 1909, and now in 2009, as we celebrate our 100th birthday, we continue our proud tradition of bringing the best in fashion, beauty and home products to New Zealanders. With 58 stores from Kaitaia to Invercargill, Farmers is New Zealand’s only nationwide department store, as well as being 100% New Zealand owned.

It is the dedication, effort and commitment from our staff and supplier partners and the on-going loyalty of our customers that have enabled Farmers to grow and improve over the past century.

We look forward to celebrating our birthday with you over the coming months and to serving New Zealanders for the next 100 years.
